Carmen was born and raised in Hicksville, Ohio and has loved art, music, theatre and photography for most of her life.  She has a BA in theatre and speech communications from Siena Heights University and an MA in theare history and criticism from Ohio University. She also has years of experience and was very successful in the many photography classes she elected to take both in high school and college.  One professor told her that the reason she was such a great stage manager was because she could "picture and recreate" the stage and the actors blocking in the prompt book.  So after several job changes her husband, Jim managed to convince her she has the talent and ambition to own her own photography business.  So now she actually loves to go to work! 


Born in Elyria, Ohio, Jim grew up enjoying the outdoors through hunting and fishing with his father. Early on, Jim discovered photography and began taking photographs of everything he saw that was interesting.  After having many jobs, Jim began as a freelance photographer for the Springfield News-Sun in Springfield, Ohio.  Twelve years later, Jim is still behind the camera loving every minute of it.  Working as a photojournalist, Jim has won various awards as a member of the Ohio News Photographer's Association and The National Press Photographer's Association for his work.  When asked, Jim says that the most rewarding part of being a photojournalist is showing everyday life the way he sees it to the general public.
